Getting creative with wood sticks! :)

Sticks are just like building blocks - legos or other open ended creative toys. The only difference being, they are very easy to find and free! ;)

I felt like when we started with sticks Toddler S liked creating 2 D structures, but then eventually ventured into any 3D stuff. We started off with some shapes, and talking about how many sticks we need for each shape. Triangle needs 3 etc

And we have a square!

And then Toddler S came up with the idea of creating our house and that what we did! But then it was missing a tree we have outside our home ;) so we created and stuck it in play dough as the tree needed to stand (duh, trees stand and are so tall, mommy! Exclaimed the toddler :) )
