Imprinting - A fun way to discover shapes, textures and intricate details on various objects.

1. Leaf imprints -
Leaves come in various different shapes and sizes! One of the greatest advantages - Kids can explore so many things!
We started with getting various different types / shapes of leaves on our way back from the play ground. Be sure to get the NOT dried leaves. Dried leaves will crumble and won't get you the results you are looking for. :)
Our setup looked something like this -
1. Placed the leaves on the table

2. Placed a blank paper on top of these (We used used paper like printouts we don't need any more etc)
Once you have the paper, I highly recommend sticking a painter tape so the paper does not move.

3. And then I showed the toddler how to rub the crayon - horizontally on the paper.

And Wohoo!! We have imprints!

We talked about sizes, heights etc of the different leaves.
Toddler S was very excited to see the imprints!
